A Fresh Voice, Working for You

A Fresh Voice, Working for You

As your representative on Carlow County Council, I am dedicated to bringing new energy and a modern perspective to local government. Elected just two days after my 21st birthday, I am committed to proving that a fresh outlook, combined with a deep-rooted dedication to our rural communities, is exactly what our region needs to thrive.

From my home near the Fighting Cocks to the halls of Trinity College, my focus has always been local. I am here to ensure that young people have a seat at the table, families have homes, and our community groups have the resources they need to succeed.

Rooted in the Community

Rooted in the Community

Born and raised in Ballon and Tullow I’ve been deeply connected to our local family business, Wards Fruit & Veg.

“I got involved in politics because I believe if you see something that can be better, you should do something about it.”

My Priorities.
A Vision for Carlow

My work is driven by a clear vision: to ensure our region thrives through balanced development, accessible services, and a stronger voice for every citizen.

Housing

Advocating for social, private, and affordable housing schemes across Tullow and Bagenalstown.

Community Funding

Supporting the invaluable work of local voluntary groups through grants and enhancement programmes.

Agriculture & Business

Reducing red tape for the farmers and small businesses that form the backbone of our economy.

Education & Youth

Fighting for special education resources and initiatives like “My Open Library” to make learning accessible to all.

Rural Transport

Partnering with the NTA and Local Link to provide reliable, green, and accessible transport for rural Carlow.

Community Safety

Working closely with An Garda Síochána to identify and respond to local policing and anti-social behavior issues.
